WP AutoLoader is easy to deploy onto any test/staging/live environment.
Follow these steps:
- Once you have successfully setup WP AutoLoader in your development WordPress application; and are happy with the results:
- Copy the the following two directories from the root of your WP application to the new environment you wish to enable AutoLoader in:
wp-includes/wp-src/
- Test the WordPress application in the new environment to ensure it works as expected, and you are done!
The changes AutoLoader affects are confined to the wp-includes and wp-src folders in your application root. Nothing else needs to be altered.
As long as wp-includes and wp-src are copied over together from the original source to the new destination, WordPress should run smoothly.
