Our goal is to help organizations develop better web applications in the PHP space. To fulfill this mission we offer optimization and development services.
PHP has grown tremendously over the last fifteen years from being a simple scripting language to becoming a major player in the web tech space. Some estimates suggest 30% of the internet is running on WordPress alone, in addition to the many enterprise and startup web projects that have sprung up built on other PHP technology.
Our services are geared towards helping organizations make better decisions in-terms of their PHP software. Instead of focussing only on server-level infrastructure enhancements – as is typically the approach to these problems – we wish shed light on the application and database layers as well.
Software design has unfortunately not evolved much from the desktop software era; even though a key difference exists between desktop applications and cloud applications: cloud applications are network applications.
Network applications are burdened with serving potentially millions of users at the same time; while desktop applications typically cater to a limited number of users simultaneously.
With this new paradigm shift, it is essential to identify and use software design that suites this reality. We hope to begin the dialogue towards a better path ahead.
